Seymour AV's Glacier Gray is for use with projectors that can output 2500 lumens or higher, improving your black levels by 20%. This solid screen is the perfect solution for those that want a non-AT screen that can tolerate a little ambient light or lighter colored room surfaces. The new Glacier Gray 0.8 gain screen is a multi-layer multi-layer material that was developed keeping the easiest mounting method in mind, our grommet / o-ring system. The back side is a sturdy reinforced weave with an integrated black film to completely kill any translucence to the image, assuring that even in front of a white wall there will not be any contrast-killing light contamination like traditional non-reinforced vinyl screens have. On top of that is the optical layer with just enough sheen to provide gain and a light embossing to maximize uniformity and viewing angle. The Glacier Gray can handle 4K video resolutions, and can be used at any seating or projector throw distance. The Glaicier Gray should be used in a room with minimal ambient light and preferably medium or darker colors. The Precision frame is 2.6" wide and covered in 99.5% light absorbing premium Baritone velvet to absorb the overscan. Featuring grommets around the screen border, you simply attach the screen to the frame using the provided stretchy bands onto pre-installed frame posts, making a trampoline that will always bounce back. The frame is split on the top and bottom and joined with 2.4 pounds of laser cut plated steel. Built in Iowa, Seymour AV screens are sold factory direct, worldwide and TO China.
