Rug Care & Cleaning
General Care: Vacuum regularly. This will remove the soil before it gets grounded into the foundation, becoming difficult to remove. Rotate the rug periodically (once or twice a year) for even wear. Removing spills and stains: When spills occur, blot them immediately with a clean white cloth. Allow the cloth to absorb the spill, do not rub the area. A spoon may be also used to pick up any excess, working towards the center of the spill. Most spots can be removed with a solution of one-quart luke-warm water, one teaspoon of mild detergent, applied to the stained area and then blotted. Use a household blow dryer to dry. Brush the pile after the spot is dry. For more difficult spills, contact a professional rug cleaner in your area.
