Grow anywhere
Wheatgrass can sprout without direct sunshine. Meaning no matter where you place these mugs of cat grass you'll be seeing growth in only a matter of days after planting. Just sprinkle the small bag of seeds into the top layer of coconut coir soil and let the seeds do the rest. On average, roots and small green shoots will sprout within 4 days after planting.
Dishwasher and microwave safe
After your feline friend has chowed down to the roots, you can throw away the soil and use these mugs for your daily cup of hot coffee or tea. All three colors of the Cat Grass Growing Kit are both dishwasher and microwave safe. Be sure to collect all the colors available which include Whisker White, Bengal Black, and Purrrfectly Pink!
Remove the two soil disks and bag of seed from the mug
Place both soil disks and in the mug and pour over at least 1.5 cups of water. Watch the disks absorb the water and expand, more water may be poured to further break up the dirt
Stir the soil briefly, then sprinkle the seeds into the top layer of the dirt
Seeds do not need to be 100% covered in dirt to sprout, but you may cover them with up to 1/8 inch of soil
Place the mug in a low light area, or with bright indirect sunlight. The cat grass does not need sunlight in order to begin sprouting
Watch the grass grow over the next several days
Be sure to keep the soil lightly moistened by using a small watering can or spray bottle
Once grass has been consumed by your cat, pour out dirt and wash thoroughly before growing more seeds or for drinking use.
If your cat or small pet does not seem interested, try placing the mug at ground level near their food and water bowl. This will help them associate the grass with food and possibly peak their curiosity!
Cat Grass has a full mature height of between 5 and 7 inches
Be sure to check out the 1 pound bag of Cat Grass Seeds offered by Perfect Plants to keep on growing
Be sure your mug is not left in complete darkness as this may promote mold/mildew growth
Grass grown with these seeds will last about 2 weeks before dying back
