Good to know:
Cracked Wheat vs. Bulgur - similar but different. Bulgur berries are pre-cooked, when Cracked Wheat Berries are completely raw. Nevertheless, the prep time for both are shorter due to individual processing. Parboiling reduces cooking time of Bulgur, in the same way as cracking whole wheat kernels into smaller pieces reduces cooking time of Cracked Wheat Berries.
Cooking Instructions
* For each cup of Organic Cracked Wheat, use four cups of water (1:4).
If cooking on a stovetop, combine water and cracked wheat in a pot and bring to a boil. add 1/2 tsp of salt. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20-30 mins. Fluff with a fork before serving.

1 cup Organic Cracked Wheat Berries
3 cups water
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 cup milk of choice
nuts of choice
honey
How to Prepare Cracked Wheat Hot Cereal
Super easy breakfast, that will keep you full for hours. Nutritious and oh so delicious!
INSTRUCTION:
In a 2 qt. pot bring water to to a boil. Add salt.
Stir in cracked wheat, and turn the flame down to simmer.
Cover and cook for 20 mins, occasionally stirring.
Add milk (you can heat-up the milk if you wish)
Top with honey and your favorite nuts and/or fresh fruit.
