We created Compact by Design to identify products that, while they may not always look very different, have a more efficient design. With the removal of excess air and water, products require less packaging and become more efficient to ship. At scale, these small differences in product size and weight lead to significant carbon emission reductions.

Nairn's oatcakes are crunchy baked crackers made with Scottish oats and other natural ingredients. They are much healthier than wheat based crackers as oats contain complex carbohydrates, soluble and insoluble fibre and other nutrients that make them an ideal energy source.

The oats used in this Gluten Free recipe are grown in separate fields away from other grains to avoid contamination. The oatcakes are then produced in a dedicated Gluten Free factory, making them suitable for Coeliacs
