As Lea & Perrins was originally imported from England, the delicate glass bottles were wrapped in paper to protect them from the rough conditions of ship transport.	Lea & Perrins contains anchovies and therefore is not vegetarian or vegan-friendly.	With origins in the early 1800s, Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce was brought to the U.S. in 1839, making it the oldest commercially bottled condiment.
