The Cheese Vault for Soft Cheese is a simple and reusable way to store your artisan cheese. Cheese experts agree that the worst possible way to store your cheese is the way so many of us do it – by wrapping it in plastic wrap. Cheese needs to “breathe” and eliminate excess moisture to maintain its flavor and delay molding just like in a cheese cave. Until now, the only recommended solution for proper cheese storage was to use disposable wrappers or bags.
Cheese Vault for Soft Cheese, Butter
How nice not to have to unwrap and wrap cheese before and after using. How much better for the Cheese as well, that is if you want it to stay in pristine condition. The removable base wicks away moisture from the cheese allowing air to circulate and delays mold.
Write on the outside polished ends to mark which cheese is inside. No more digging in the crisper drawer for nuggets of moldy cheese stinking up the fridge trying to figure out what is what.
So much easier to just throw leftovers into the Vault trusting they'll be safe and in great condition when you go back for them again.
Wine Industry Veterans
Husband and wife team, Walt Averill and Máire Murphy met through the wine industry where until 2011 they'd spent their entire careers.
CapaBunga, the product that started it all, was originally invented as a unique packaging item for their Napa Valley wine but they quickly realized after using it a few times themselves that all wine drinkers should have at least one. Based on its success and their knowledge of the wine profession they set out to invent and develop several other wine accessories.
Avid food and wine aficionados, their inventions naturally evolved beyond wine to complimentary kitchen tools. In October 2018 they added the tote+able line of flasks, canteens, wine carriers and totes. This led to them developing the award winning and bestselling Market Tote.
Wine, Cheese, Bread, Totes - we've got all your gourmet needs covered!
Over the years we've imbibed more than our fair share of wine and eaten many pounds of bread and cheese to go with it. Along the way we've used many wine accessories that left us dissatisfied with their performance. We scrutinize all wine accessories intending to improve on them one by one - everything from CapaBubbles to reseal sparkling wine and GlassWhere identifiers to mark your glass of wine. We've even improved the wine accessory we use the most – the corkscrew! The Cheese Vault was our first foray beyond wine to preserve artisan cheese followed by the Bread Cap. All of CapaBunga's products are designed in Sonoma County, California - right in the heart of wine country.
The original product, CapaBunga is a reusable silicone cap that reseals a bottle of wine after you remove the cork. It’s made to resemble the bungs used to seal barrels during wine-making. Once you remove the cork and re-seal the bottle with a CapaBunga, it is liquid tight and the open bottle can rest on its side or even upside down without leaking.

GlassWhere, Wine Glass Identifiers
We developed GlassWhere to stick to the base of your stemware while also ensuring that you could easily write on it with any ballpoint pen and wipe it off afterwards for reuse. We added the usual CapaBunga humor while also leaving space for a name – what a great way to get a party or conversation started!
Farmer's Market Tote, a multi-use tote
Divide your bounty into separate compartments and keep eggs, glass bottles and your most fragile food intact. Cinch a bunch of flowers to the outside allowing them to drip on the ground rather than in the bag. The sturdy, structured construction and vegan leather base allows the bag to stand on its own as you wind your way back home.
