From a small farmhouse in rural Tennessee, two antique collectors and traders, saw the need for lamp replacement parts and adapters.

How did we get our start?

Lawson and Pauline were antique dealers and traders with a keen eye for antique lighting. In the mid 20th century, electricity was becoming available to rural houses. B&P Lamp created an oil lamp adapter to electrify and repurpose the family's lamps.

Why do we love what we do?

Our passion for lighting design and lamp components is multi generational but comes from appreciation for lighting styles from history. From early kerosene lamps, to early gas lights, to midcentury styles and beyond: we love to see how changes in style and culture is reflected in lighting.
