Lamp Harps connect to lamp bases. The two bottom “legs” attach below the lamp’s socket in the “saddle”. They fit over a lamp's light bulb, simultaneously protecting the bulb and providing support for the lampshade.
Our Lamp Harp Sets accommodate standard light bulb sizes, allowing enough room between the harp and the bulb to prevent overheating.
What Size of Lamp Harp Do You Need?
In order for the bottom of your lampshade to sit below your lamp’s light socket, you’ll need the right size of harp. Select a harp that's at least 2 inches shorter than the height of your lampshade. If you would like a more dramatic look, with your lampshade covering a portion of your lamp’s base, choose a harp that’s 1-4 inches shorter than the height of your lampshade.
